QUEEN E. MEHEUX, LLB; LLM
Queen is a legal professional with over 21 years of national and international experience in immigration, and civil litigation law. She has worked with various law firms, attorneys, community organizations, and individuals in and out of the United States. She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Queen E. Meheux and Associates, LLC, an independent multi-lingual Gwinnett-based paralegal firm. A skilled negotiator with excellent interpersonal communication skills, she is also proficient in English and fluent in Russian and Krio. Queen is resulted-oriented with a proven track record and a client-first business philosophy.
An advocate for academic discipline and advancement, Queen joined the adjunct faculty in the legal studies and criminal justice program at Strayer University in January 2010, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate students in business law, ethics and corporate governance, critical thinking, criminal justice system and introduction to paralegal studies. She also serves as a subject matter expert in curriculum design and development. Additionally, she joined the adjunct faculty of Gwinnett Technical College in Adult Literacy and GED program in March 2008, where she teaches English as a Second Language (ESL) and GED preparation courses.
