Founder's Profile

Queen Meheux is the founding member and President of Queen E. Meheux and Associates, LLC a Gwinnett based Professional Legal and administrative support Services Company. Founding Queen E. Meheux and Associates, LLC, has afforded Queen Meheux,  the opportunity of putting her well-rounded  multicultural education, legal qualifications, experience and skills, into practice, through service to sole practitioners, small law firms as well as individuals who would not otherwise afford the cost of hiring a lawyer for services that do not constitute a practice of law.

Queen Meheux holds a Master of Laws degree, LLM in Comparative Law from the Fredric Levin College of Law at the University of Florida; Master of Laws, LLM  in International law from Kiev State University (Taras Shevchenko University) in Kiev, Ukraine; Bachelor of laws degree, LLB from the University of Wolverhampton, in the United Kingdom and Legal Practice Course, LPC (Post graduate law degree) from Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, England and an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate from National Center for Paralegal Training (NCPT), Atlanta, Georgia.

Queen is fluent in Russian language. In her free time, Queen mentors high school and college students and volunteers with Georgia Council for International Visitors (GCIV); Room to Read (RTR), Atlanta Chapter; and her high school Alumni Association (MBHS/MGHS) in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an alumnus of Fredric Levin College of Law, University of Florida and a member of Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA).

Current work experience:

• President/ Owner Queen E. Meheux & Associates, LLC
• Adjunct Faculty: 2010 to Present at Strayer University, Roswell Campus in Georgia, where she is a professor of Business law; Criminal Justice System and Introduction to paralegal profession at the BBA level; Law, Ethics & Corporate Governance at the MBA level. She also volunteers with a community based charity as an English instructor, teaching English as a second language.

Past work experience:  

Prior to establishing Queen E. Meheux and Associates, LLC, Queen worked as a trainee attorney of England and Wales in London, England, and as a  paralegal and attorney liaison  in several prestigious law firms and in-house legal departments in the Metro-Atlanta area, in areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, labor/employment, family law, personal injury  and immigration law.

Meheux and Associates, LLC and to ensure that any services provided by us for a supervising attorney is in compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct, which outlines how lawyers are responsible for the ethical conduct of non-lawyers in the position of employee or independent contractor.
